1937, the war is about to start. Bohumil Balda heads a small architect firm in the city of Hradec Kralove, in the Czech Republic, not far from Poland. Bohumil is passionate about his work and modern architecture, and he hates the Nazi party which is getting stronger and stronger. But in spite of his initial hatred, he becomes gradually fascinated by the crazy and spectacular projects of the Nazis and starts working with them.
Mostly drawn with AutoCAD (the vector based architecture software), SUN FACTORY is a story filled with dark humour loosely based on the life of the many artists who got involved with the IIIrd Reich. It’s a striking experimental book from polish architect Lukasz Wojciechowski.
